today i had nothing to do and grabbed an old strap and throw it in a bucket of bleach...

see what happened....

i think it worked out nicely....the watch is a genuine u-boat(53mm)

Turned out nice. I tried this a while back and it turned my strap into mush. I guess I left it in the bleach 4 too long.
