Tim
Can we put a sticky in one of the sections, probably dealer review, that informs people what to expect so far as contacting one of the dealers. And maybe what a trypical customer experience is for any given dealer. Maybe we can lead the sticky with the assertion that they would not be recommended dealers on the board if they were going to take your money and run. I am relatively new here, but even to me it is damn annoying to have newbies constantly post that I have not heard from so-and-so dealer and I sent them a message 5 minutes ago. Then whenever they post these silly questions we can simply refer them to the sticky message and tell them to read. /Tim
shultzie
And maybe what a trypical customer experience is for any given dealer. /Tim There really is no "typical" experience with any given dealer. Everyone has had their own personal experience and they are all interpreted differently by different members.
Defender110
i would have to say that the dealers here sure must have some patience... i have sold a bunch from my collection over the last few weeks (accepted pp and newbie transactions) and boy are some of the members here dumb A** s!!! after i get a pp $$ i get all kinds of PM and email.. "did you get my $$?" "do you have the tracking #?!!" "did you ship the item like you said?" !!!!! so just a heads up here in the VIP room... school the newbie before you take their $$$.. For goodness sake i would hate to have a pp problem from a DA newbie!!!! and like i said the dealers here really do have patience IMHO. and they probally make good $$ on a transaction to put up with all the newbs as well :-)
