Spatten1
I was wearing my Link non-chrono while walking with crutches (snowboarding accident). The bracelet must have have been torqued a bit, and one of the screws broke off in the shaft inside the link. I got out my extra links and with very little torque either spun the shaft fixed in the left link, or broke off the screw tightening the right link. Long story short: I recommend a light thread locker and barely any torque when tightening the rep Link links. A replacement bracelet is $85. Too much. If I break another of those tiny screws inside the link I am hosed. I'm thinking of just gluing a pin of the correct OD in both left and right links to eliminate the need for the screw. I would do it on the links close to the watch, that will never be needed for adjustment. I do worry, that misplaced glue would prevent the bracelet from flexing, very bad. Has anyone else had this problem? Any good ideas for repairs?
