eLiNK
The Omega logo on the dial looks more like on the Joshua's version.
r11co
Caseback logo is stuck on insert rather than cast. Band is flat, not curved. Bezel/dial orange looks too dark (could just be the photograph). This looks like a generation 2 model that all the others were selling at one point or anohter. eLiNK
Here are the pictures of the real thing (42 mm). Enjoy. Edited April 9, 2006 by eLiNK
eLiNK
Two more pictures of the genuine watches. can you tell which one is 45 mm of size? (Don't cheat.)
r11co
Too easy!! The second one is the 45mm. Date window is set further from the edge of the dial (for obvious reasons).
ahchard
easier to spot is the gap between the omega logo and the wording...
eLiNK
It IS obvious that the date window should be set further from the edge. I was just kind a surprised that the distance b/w the omega logo and the word OMEGA, which is not movement dependent, would differ as well. r11co
Another giveaway is the scalloping on the bezel. I bet this is the feature they will get wrong on the 45mm reps....
Chronus
Helium valve placements on those genuine watches are definitely not in line with the 10 o'clock marker...
eLiNK
How comes no one is dusciussing pros and cons of the king's version? I thought her watch is new, ist it not?
