TimeBandit
I thought I read somewhere, that a new Omega was coming out that was RED. Would anybody know anything about this...as I am unsure what that really refered to, the bezel insert or the dial Thanks in advance
hyster
The new bond smp has the word seamaster in red and under the omega symbol, before it was white and in the lower half of the face. hxxp://www.omegawatches.com/index.php?id=285&details=1&ref=22228000&no_cache=1 (change the xx to tt) I think thats what you are referring to anyway.... Rxus
I soo hope they rep that model, I'm certain it would move quickly. We have a nice Omega following not just on these boards but the world over. besides the regular SMP did very well, I imagine the new version will do the same (assuming it's of equal or better quality)
Zed
Here is the new version of the SMP Chrono and as you can see 'Seamaster' is in red and 'Omega' logo has changed too ... The hour markers are also outlined in SS .. When I checked out the new & old versions ( Gens ) the old version is selling for more $$ ? Rxus
It's what i mean, they already made the OMEGA symbol in metal and the seamaster is in red, now they need to transfer these details with their correct sizes onto a non crono SMP, fix the He valve placement use the corect pin adjustment on the band and BAM! you have the new SMP..oh and make sure it's using the correct ETA movement like the older version heck i would settle for a 21J as long as the aesthetics were correct. I know one of the collectors recently released a failed attempt at the correct SMP, but i'm certain somebody will release the correct one soon enough. f5mando
The 'Seamaster' logo in red denotes the co-axial (virtually maintenance-free) escape movt.
