i tend to shun quartz watches as well, but i have seen Tag and B&M quartzes that were more expensive and less attractive than this watch.

Even Cartier features some quartz roadsters.. and they are muliples of this in price.

I saw ad on men's journal. I didn't know it is about 1k!. It seems like using Rhonda movement. Traser watch has same layout.
