Tag Heuer Link Chrono problem

Recommended Posts

Hi....if it's the chrono quartz.( well it would be ...wouldn't it).........here's what you do....!

1. Make sure the seconds hand is reset and not running...!

2. Pull out the crown to the position for adjusting the hour and minute hands...!

3. Press the top chrono pusher at 2'o clock.........the seconds hand should sweep round one click at a time....if you hold the button down.....it will sweep quickly....!

4. Let it sweep till it sits at 12.....then push the crown back in and screw down...!

Try the chrono function now...it should be reset to 12.

BTW.....did I sell you this one.....?

Hi,

Very much thanks for the tip, but it didn’t work out...

It’s actually a TH Link with Asia 7750

Any ideas?

Cheers

Sten

The hand probably slipped after resetting or wasn't attached firmly from the biginning...

If you've never worked on a watch you're probably better of bringing it to a jeweler!

In a nutshell:

You need to unscrew the case back, remove the crown/stem, take out the movement and dial, gently push back the hand in the correct position (after you've stopped and reseted the chronograph). If it slips again you need to put a micro drop of glue in the shaft of the chrono hand.

Hope this helps.
