Dutchy
So you have a gen at 50% discount of retail value apparently, I know nothing of these, but they support it with a money back guarantee...anyway, very nice watch and I see many have open casebacks: GEN AT 50% DISCOUNT And then APPARANTLY another gen at about a 100th of the price (yea right, obnious fake to the naked eye....pictures, description, seller, etc etc etc): ANOTHER GEN....OR SO HE SAYS! The point of this thread? I like the watch and found it interesting how people list their fakes. Dutchy
Highflyingclive
Call me crasy if you like, but I actually prefer the look of the Chinese "fantasy Patek" to the original GP Worldtimer: Happy timekeeping! Clive
thomasng
Dutchy, Girard Perregaux is often available for HUGE discounts on the internet. You can pick them up for dirt cheap, and at fractions of retails for NIB pieces, and even less for LNIB pieces. I was able to buy a GP ww.tc Chronograph, the World Timer for $4900 in LNIB condition, with 1 1/2 years factory warranty remaining, keep in mind, the retail is $15,000. Doesnt that tell people something though? Why buy the thing new for that kind of money if it only loses value? I know many people hate second hand watches, but still! Unbelievable!
