Panerai crowns

Sorry for a noob like question, but what is the best crown out there to upgrade a 111H?

I know there are Palpatine crowns, Lello crowns, but I am confused by this wealth of information. If someone here would help me, that would be awesome.

You need to modify case to make it accept Leloo's crown.

As for the Palp's crowns - I guess noone received it yet so there is no good info.

It is not Palp's crown as I understand but another fellow who was working with Palp on them. I received one and it's a bit of a dissapointment. over at TRC there is a thread of what was advertised and what is being delivered. They screwed up the bevel again, it cuts into the body too deep. Why the prototype was fine and final product is like a rep, except it is a bit thicker I don't know.

I would hold off. I own both of them and I am holding off putting them on my watches. There are rumors that someone else is trying to do it properly. Apparently it is in prototype. No PM's as to who or what. If it happens we will all know and if it doesn't it didn't matter.

Well, kruzer00, are any of them better than the rep crown? I am planning to replace the crown on this 111H (image borrowed from PT, because I bought it from PT)

I was thinking what the heck, it's going off to The Zigmeister for servicing and relume anyways, and if has any left, the recessed pin mod too.

I think that crown looks pretty good. It looks as good or better than PAM's crown and there are often issues with installation of Lello crown's so I would wait. Someone who actually owns this watch should weigh in.
