Stephane Posted May 25, 2007 Report Share Posted May 25, 2007 Dear All, Some might know that I try to fulfil a cute project, a couple of 1680. I got the Red one from Edge and she's is a real beauty . I got the White one from TTK, an MBW, but she needs some serious mods. So, Edge and I are looking to reproduce his efforts on the White one now. What do we want to achieve? Well, on the red one, here are the mods done by Edge (With a little help from his friends): CG's Reshaped Crown and Tube exchanged for Genuine Bezel and Dial exchanged for Excellent, Aged Replacements Genuine Bezel pearl End Links Modified and Adapted to Accept Gen Springbars Genuine Springbars Bracelet Modified to Accept Gen Spring bars Case completely refinished, to be aged, and smoothed. Case Lugs Drilled for Gen bars Bracelet refinished Fully waterproofed Regulated Genuine Tropic. We look forward to do the same on the White one. What do we need ? Well, basicly, whatever you might have and are willing to sell. Conclusion "With a little help from our friends" Thanks for reading. You might have a look at that bezel insert... it sits high in the bezel and you don't want to catch it on something and lose the insert. See if you can snap it down deeper into the bezel? Nice piece!
