Haven't used it for a month, so today I took it out to wear, wound it and tried to set to todays date, but the date wheel does not move or engage. Any idea what could be wrong. RWG Technical Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 Common problem, the gear that engages the datewheel is not engaging...movement needs to be taken apart to fix it. It once worked for me... That's not a contradiction, there are two separate gears that switch the date, the movement one, and the quickset one...
