Date Adjustment on PAM064

I have a PAM064 with Asian 7750, 28800BPH. Haven't used it for a month, so today I took it out to wear, wound it and tried to set to todays date, but the date wheel does not move or engage. Any idea what could be wrong. I tried to adjust it at 3:00, 3:30, 4:00 and 4:30, but nothing seems to work.

Common problem, the gear that engages the datewheel is not engaging...movement needs to be taken apart to fix it.

Sometimes pulling the crown in and out a few times will engage it.

Thanks, The Zigmeister! Tried that, didn't work. Will work with dealer hopefully for a replacement!

I'm not out to contradict the Zig... but did you try advancing the date by manually winding the watch 24 hours?

That's not a contradiction, there are two separate gears that switch the date, the movement one, and the quickset one...

One is driven by the movement, the other works on the stem only.
