It does not take into account the size of population. But it's a fun map none the less. This map really shows you how huge the USA is in world economy (and I'm not talking about debt) Here is the map and details of countries and states included: US States renamed after countries with similar GDPs Minnesota ended up with my beloved Norway, and given our relation it's very fitting. ..btw we all know that on a per capita basis, we would outshine you all. ..I think..
