rag9fx Posted June 20, 2007 Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 What can i do now ? is these any way to ''re-paint'' the black numbers + letters on the Daytona bezel ???? i suppose you can black wash it (with matt black paint) ... thin down the paint slightly ... depending what you use ... i tend to use tamiya acrylic with a little bit of water and cover the entire surface area ( in this case just the bezel) let it sit for a lil while ( just enough so that it isn't completely dry ) and remove the excess paint with a dry cloth so that only the paint in the recesed area reimains ... thats how i would do it ... tonton2000 Posted June 20, 2007 Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 I repainted mine using a black CD marker pen and some wet tissue! Colour the faded numbers (obviously there will be overspill onto the actual bezel).
