gran
Sinn 6100 Regulateur New release from Sinn featured at the 2006 Basel Watch Fair. These watches demonstrate how the engineers and master watchmakers from Frankfurt am Main combine the most modern technology with the traditional watchmaker's craft. Sinn has modified the venerable Unitas 6498-1 hand winding movement to accommodate the traditional regulator functions - an hour hand register at 12, full central minutes hand and sweep seconds register at 6. Sinn has named this new movement the Sinn SZ-04. Features include movement built and regulated to chronometer standards, Glucydur screw balance, Triovis fine adjustment, elaborate movement decoration with sapphire crystals on front and back, and a new Sinn crown system D3. The case is in 316L stainless steel, and features a finely guilloched silver color dial with contrasting appliqués. The hands, numerals and markers are in blued steel. The crown is sealed with the new Sinn crown system D3 (direkt-doppel-dichtend), and the watch is water resistant to 100 meters. This watch measures 44 mm by 10.6 mm. Is it an alternative to the new IWC Jones? You can get the SS version for $1,870 Is it repable? Probably its repable but is it worth it condisering the low price of the genuine and the less known brand name g.
