but if you hold the gen on hand... you will think different.

Gen is thicker and looks different... also thinner numerals and larger lugs...

but hey... we ask here about $150 and $8.500... so i think it is a good rep for money but NOTHING to do with quality of gen

I just love mine! I bought it off of Dr. Dru on here. It is a great replica and has a great detailed movement. It is very close to the real thing. Only an expert could tell the difference!

Well, I have'nt seen the genuine, but I'm affraid I'll be very disapointed if I see one, compared to the rep...

Here is a link to an auction. It has some nice profile shots to get an idea of the differences. The lugs are curvier and both bezels (front & back) are thicker.

I love mine, and wish I could find a nice AR sapphire for it. Keep it polished and get a nice strap for it.
