is there a big differance between swiss & jap quartz?

hey guys dont know much about swiss / japan powered watches ..

how can you tell what type of quartz inside your watch ?

& is there big differance ? ..

if any one has a link that maybe illistrates swiss quartz movement please post the link ..

There's a link in the links/referance section to the miyota site that shows their mech and quartz movements in detail.

Japanese quartz movements from Miyota/SEIKO/Citizen should be as reliabel or even more reliable than Swiss made quartz movements

But be careful as the cheap asian quartz movements on the other hand can be very poor quality indeed
