Bodo Posted July 11, 2007 Author Report Posted July 11, 2007 My PO is the 45,5 mm big size model Ref. No. 2908.50.38 There is a number engraved in the caseback: 168.1682 Is that the case number?

Yes - 168.1682 is the case number. I'm pretty sure all 45.5mm PO's share the same crown and tube. So without being an expert, I'd guess the gen items would fit. I'm sure someone out there will correct me - I had tried to find out if gen crown and tube fits a UPO (mine is declared ETA 2836-2)
andreww Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 I'm sure someone out there will correct me - I had tried to find out if gen crown and tube fits a UPO (mine is declared ETA 2836-2) I believe the gen tube is too small. Read the following thread http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...904&hl=tube After reading it again I noticed that his picture is showing the Silix 45mm PO. Not sure if this uses the same case/tube design as the Ultimate. Takashi has done tube replacements on 42mm versions only, so I assume that is what you are referring to. Shortening the crown is an easy fix. The pic below shows my repaired black PO next to my perfect orange version. Looks good to me
