Guest carlsbadrolex
I have a GEN 1570 movement that I bought about six months ago. I intended it to be a project at that time, but didnt have the time. Now I have the experience of ALL OF YOU to assist me in putting the movement to good use. If you had this movement and a budget of lets say another $500 what would you do with it??? Open to suggestions!
eunomians
I would make a 1680. Too many 1665's around here IMHO. If you take your time, you can find a genuine dial and genuine rhodium-plated Tritium hands + genuine crystal. Trust me, most of the fun is the actual thrill of the hunt. Once a project is complete, you will be aching and yearning for more projects. Anyhow, go for a 1680. Best regards
cjeffers58
You can simply send it to me, I'll have it installed in my MBW1680, test run it for... say the next year... then give you a full report on how accurate it is...
Guest carlsbadrolex
Or better yet, you send me the 1680, I will have the 1570 installed along with a gen dial and wear it for a year or so. THEN I will sell the watch to you for... lets say $1000.
