So, I'm planning on buying my first panerai and I'm reading thoses forum for like 2 or 3 weeks atleast.

And I might start with a 44mm (111?) because Im 5'8"(1m73) and 160lbs(73kg), athletic.

Is 47mm is too big for my stature?

Do you have any wrist shots of 44mm and 47mm...

A 47mm should fit just fine. It is a big watch for anyone keep in mind, just a matter of personal taste whether you like it or not. You should get a pretty good idea just be doing a search of the many wrist shots here.

you need at least a 7 inch wrist to wear a 47mm watch, unless of course you want people to laugh
