Cartier Roadster Chronograph with Asian 7750 28,800

Is there any technical reason that anyone is aware of as to why the Cartier Roadster Chronograph has not been reproduced using the Asian 7750 high beat (28,800) movement?

The subdial layout would be incorrect.

The roadster chrono has the running second subdial @ 3 o'clock.

Another disappointment with this watch.. They made a 1:1 version but it's still the puny 38mm width

Why not just make a 1:1 version of the 44mm XL size???

Didn't you have the new Seatimer for a while? Why did you let that one go?

I think the 7750 is way too thick to put in a Roadster case. I could be wrong, but I have tried on the gen at the AD and every 7750 watch I own has a much thicker case. There is no relief in the caseback for the rotor on this one. Don't see them making it. If they were planning it they would have released the standard vesion with a 44mm case to make it easy.

Yeah, but 44mm long and not wide won't cut it for me now days. The chrono would be perfect cause it's a sporty watch with some presence. It is very reconizable by design and I prefer the cache of Cartier much more than rolex IMHO.

As soon as I am able to get the santos 100 dial in production I will at least be happy with that.

I'm curious to know if anyone has bought or seen the Men Roadster Cartier replica. It is listed as "made with genuine watch as sample" which was also how the Tag Aquaracer super rep was described.

Gorgeous Seatimer, what did you think of the quality of the rep? I've been looking at that one for a while, mostly concerned with the quality of the bracelet.
