thorg12 Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Does anyone know how, if at all possible, to fix the gap between the clasp and the bracelet on the 6oclock side? (right above the omega symbol on the bracelet) or am i the only persone with this gap? thanks -mike
jimmytim Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 I tried it, it keeps on getting apart...too thin I reckon, will break eventually... And er, 20mm breacelet will not fit (unless you sand it down), because the lug size is 19.5 or something...
krustybrand Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 What you need to do is find another rep - an SMP or Bond that is broken. Take the guts out of the clasp and transfer all pieces except the clasp shell to your PO. Curvature may be slightly different, but a little squeeze with a couple of pieces of hardwood and some stout pliers will fix that (make sure it is assembled and all is closed before you do that). It seems the bracelet number on the clasp of the PO rep is the same as that on the old SMP (black), and perhaps others too, but the old clasps are far better quality. This is what I have done to my PO and it has been perfect ever since.
