eunomians Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Recently, when I went to McDonald's I saw on the menu that I could have an order of 6, 9 or 12 Chicken McNuggets. I asked for a half dozen nuggets. "We don't have half dozen nuggets," said the teenager at the counter. "You don't?" I replied. "We only have six, nine, or twelve," was the reply. "So I can't order a half dozen nuggets, but I can order six?" "That's right." So I ordered six McNuggets.
jfreeman420 Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 You know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in europe? A royale with cheese. Something to do with the metric system. If you ask for half a dozen quarter pounders do you really get 1.5 pounds? I hear that would cost you about $6.00 but 6 royales would cost you 3 pounds sterling. Is a quarter pound 2 pence? Now i'm just rambling. Forget it.
