longshot Posted May 10, 2006 Report Share Posted May 10, 2006 I'm very tempted by Joshua's new blue dial Pam 120, but am a little worried about the 21j Asian auto that comes in them. If it had a center seconds it seems swapping out the movement for an ETA would be reasonably easy, but with the 9:00 subdial is there a better movement that can be fitted? r11co Posted May 12, 2006 Report Share Posted May 12, 2006 Arrrgh - more Asian movement paranoia. I am wearing a 090 rep with the very same Asian 21j movement you are sweating over. Not only is it very accurate, it is also based on the ETA 2892 movement, which is a fundamentall better design than the 2824 you'd probably end up swapping in (as 'replacement' 2892s are rarer and considerably more expensive).
