beanyboy
I came across an advertisement for Omega's Rattrapante model double flyback watch today in the New York Times. It's a beautiful looking watch. I have been thinking for a while about pulling the trigger on an Omega rep, and was leaning toward the Seamaster big markers model. But after seeing this baby today, I am totally enthralled. A quick search on this site and another yielded nothing on this watch, giving me concern that it won't be repped or that I just don't know how to use the search function. Could any of you rep collectors out there enlighten me on this? Also, since Omega is a heavily repped brand, do you think it will eventually be repped? If so, how long until produciton is compete? Finally, it appears that reps go through quality evolution, and it's often a good idea to wait for generation two or three of a repped watch? Any thoughts on this are helpful. dadog13
it isn't reped and it wont be... or even if it will be reped it would not be a rattrapante function within...
vric
Humm nice Bigger: http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/blog_support...omega2_crop.jpg But like dadog13 said, it's maybe too complicated to be repped.

beanyboy
I think I'll wait it out. although I appreciate the points toward the bad reps. Who knows? We may get lucky and somebody in China will decide to rep this baby in a good way. Thanks for all the input. Beany
