Here's an old version of a sub that I haven't seen anywhere else. Notice the flat top "s" in Submariner. This was only produced by Rolex for a year. The bezel and crown are solid 14K. Nicked up the bezel trying to get it off. It won't budge. I would like to replace the insert on this one. I polished it recently with a cape cod. The gold is shining like new. This is over 4 years old. After many TT subs in my collection this is the only one I have kept.
