911RS
Josh's PAM036. Or is it pretty darn good already? thanks in advance
b16a2
I would say just a relume and if the strap isn't all that good, a different one to be almost spot on! Im sure the experts could add a few things to this.

I'm not trying to be flip: Unless you are a serious collector of rare genuine Panerai--or can put yourself over as one, nothing needs to be done to the watch. 99% of the people won't know rep from gen, and the .01% of the people who know what a PAM 36 is won't believe you own a watch that rare. If you insist, I believe you'll need the jewel sockets painted gold, sunburst gears, and (I think) remove any blue tint on the crystal. A lume job which simulates tritium would also be a must, that is if you can source the correct T Swiss dial.
Watchmeister
What he said. And lest we forget - fix the "A". If you are intent on accuracy I would start with a solid back model.
Ptolomeo
Ask Vaccum or another modder for a vintage lume. I don't know if the gen PAM036 had a single AR or not. Again, ask Vac or Flav. It's a great watch. Congrats
