ryyannon
Will timewasters be an ongoing series? Hasn't it always? I did like the recording of the Castrato: sort of like hearing Elephant Man, if he could have sung.... The Russian exorcism made me think of how little separates us from the terror and chaos of our own implosion as 'rational' beings...the fragility of civilization - and the jnpenetrable darknesss of the human soul... Highflyingclive
Will timewasters be an ongoing series? I hope so. The man has an astonishing talent for discovery of the bizarre. You may find that your time was not wasted, after all....

ryyannon
"By Dabe id Djobn Berrik ... And We Are Ba Berrik Gboup! Hebbo Clebelund!" Less from the standpoint of difformity or mutilation than from the atmosphere of the recording itself: definitely another time and place, way back there...Edwardian - even if the singer in question is Italian - and not terribly further removed in time than Merrick's own death in 1890. Whatever. Anyway, it's grossly unfair of you to expect me to make any sense!
