Polishing small areas

So guys how do you polishing small areas to a shine.

For example the Inge where the top of the bezel is brushed but the sides are polished, any tools methods ?

I was thinking of tops dipped in polishing liquid (you know the thing girls use to clean their ears... Im not sure about the english word)

You mean Q-tips? I think guys use those too.

Here is a link to a product I use. The multi level sand papers go to an ultra fine level and do a fine job on watches and finally there is a polishing cloth infused with Jewelers Rouge for the finish. The watch / band can be taped off for precision work on small areas. I am very happy with the results I get with this product. Cheers
