DuDro Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 Can someone provide some advice on removing the crystal from the IWC GST Ti Chrono? I have removed the movement and tried pressing with my thumbs from the inside, but NO luck. I just hope that when the watch was built, the crystal was not glued on in addition to the pressure fitting. Need help...Thanks in advance! DuDro Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2007 Figured it out... I "suspended" the case in a table vise and tapped on the crystal with a wooden dowel and mallet. The crystal popped right out! I'm guessing that the titanium case "holds" onto the crystal more tightly than the softer, stainless steel. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
