DWSmoot Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 (edited) Thought I would share this recent side by side comparison I made of Joshua's recent listing of the Cousteau Aquatimer vs. the Gen for those interested... Looks pretty good!! Gen on right... Also found some really good up close reference pictures of the Gen here: http://www.europeanwatch.com/froogle/9984.htm Edited September 13, 2007 by DWSmoot
cranium Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Does the 12 o'clock marker look crooked on the gen pic?
DWSmoot Posted September 13, 2007 Author Report Posted September 13, 2007 Does the 12 o'clock marker look crooked on the gen pic? I believe because of the longer "split marker at 12" it is straight but looks crooked due to the radius above...
luisik Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Great reference DWSmoot ! Thank you !!!
barsa4ever Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 It is a very nice rep, not my style of watch but still impossible to differentiate at simple sight
mattheis Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 I liked both better in the protos, when there was no orange band around the "...5...10...15", now it's a bit much. Just me though. Otherwise, it is awsome. M
FxrAndy Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 main thing i see there is the thinner font on the inner bezel of the rep, but apart from that pretty good!
RWG Technical Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 I should buy one of these for myself, and lume the orange and the white on the bezel, that would look so cool...but it would take forever to get done, not to mention the shot nerves when I was finished. RG
robertk Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 I've got this one. Decided on this version....don't know why? Maybe I wanted a colorful IWC? enough black, blue or white? It's very faithful to the gen. I Like it very much....don't love it, but if it is your thing, you won't be dissapointed.
