They are finally coming together

After ordering several watches for order and modding and waiting about then days to get here, stuck four days in customs, my beloved panerai have finally arrived. So for the past several weeks i have been luming dials and hands a head of time, but my supplier sent the wrong seconds hand. the tube was too short and would not fit. this really had my BP up.

Here are a couple quick and dirty shots of one watch i assembled tonight. Lume is a mixture of C3/C1. The color when dry is off white but the lume is impressive. I took these shots, no kidding, after 15 seconds of charge. Also the minute hands still needs to be reccessed about 1mm to bring it flush.

Enjoy

15 secs of charge, but 5 secs exposure time for the photo, uh? ;)

Great work anyway, congrats!

May I ask you what ratio C1 / C3 you used?

Exif and the trace drawn by the second hand say 8 seconds. ;)

Doesn't stop it from looking nice though.

<_<

The hand was not seated properly as i have to relume this hand. I just threw the hand on for viewing purposes. Man i cannot get anything past you my friend.

Perhaps i need to post the shooting info ;)

In that case I humbly suggest you get that watch serviced, as its small second hand runs along 5 seconds in less than 2 seconds... :p

Thanks!

The best mix ever. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

As stated earlier the seconds hand was not seated properly, your mixture close to mine. I was 65/25/5, but now I am 77/23.

Cheers
