I just recieved a bunch of parts for some projects, and I also ordered a new stem for 2846 movement.

I'm confused. The stem I received is tap 10. I thought they were tap .90. Am I confused? did I miss something? Am I getting too much fresh air?

I could have sworn that they were .90? I checked the old stem and it is .90, but the new one is 10. My crown doesn't really want to screw all the way on the new stem. I don't want to force it either.

I checked the Julesborel site and all the stems are listed as tap 10. I wonder if I can still get one that is tap 90

Tap 10 stems are 0.9mm. Are you saying that the stems that you ordered are 1.0mm? Are they marked as Tap 10?

I don't recall it saying Tap 10 on the envelope, just part number on the envelope. I'll check the number when I get home tonight, but I tried to screw on two different crowns and neither would screw on completely. When I compared it beside the old stem, it definately looks a bit thicker. I will measure them both with calipers tonight to double check. I always remember them being marked as .90, so the 10 is confusing.

This is what I ordered:

401/1029 STEM, TAP 10 LEN 16MM (FOR ETA 2846) 4.60

...Those should be 0.9mm. Let's see what your calipers say tonight.
