rckh Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Dear All: I would like to ask whether it's normal or not? Swiss ETA 6479 with dagger swanneck-movement; when I winding the crown keep turning back a little bit slowly. Seems the movement keep good time. I own 2 of this movement; however; the other one haven't got the kind of problem. Dealer told me it's normal......any idea? best regards, Raymond
sssurfer Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Yes, dagger swan neck 6497 are Asian (sorry, no Swiss ETA here as far as I know), and that is a don't-worry behaviour on Asian movements.
rckh Posted October 6, 2007 Author Report Posted October 6, 2007 Any fix for it? Is it a problem of movement? I'm quite sure theyre Swiss ETA 6497 movement; not China clone or any Asian Unitas movement. Best Regards, Raymond
