dastrix
Are the dealers advertising these watches with swiss movements actually swiss movements?? I mean your paying the extra kit, do you get the goods? I thought I read some are still putting in asian movements in advertised swiss movement watches? Further, other then the SFSO is the Chrono avenger any good in terms of replication and does a swiss eta version exist? Thanks guys! I want to add a breitling to my Tag/Omega SMP collection
ajoesmith
Not too sure about the SFSO claim but the chrono avenger is a great rep however only available in SS good version, Ti version has bad pearl, wrong 'B' engraving on the bezel and possible other flaws. My advice, wait for the Breitling Skyland

I want to add a breitling to my Tag/Omega SMP collection there are two versions, one with a straight out asian knock off movement, and one with the "Swiss ETA" movement. My understanding is: There is some debate as to exactly what the "Swiss ETA" movement actualy is. some say they are surplus/used swiss ETA movements, some say they are Swiss ETA parts with the movement being assembled in Asia...everyone seems to agree they are better than the Asian knock off movement...plus you get the AR crystal with the "Swiss" version, which makes all the difference! Thanks guys, the Chrono Avenger is a far nicer watch but getting a copy of the original version with good pearl and AR is next to impossible it seems. The new version has far too many flaws for my liking... I'm not a huge fan of the SFSO size, it appears to be a bit too small!

Anyone know the time frame before we get a rep?
