Sub vs marble benchtop

Well i had the sub for a couple of weeks now, it looks a million bucks and i love it, ive had a small problem with the date not ticking over since the watch came, i monitored the problem to see if it went away, it hasnt so i emailed andrew and im sending the watch back to be fixed, no problem there.

On the downside i was at a mates house watchin the AFL grandfinal, good old aussie rules footy for people from usa who dont know about it and downing cans of jimbeam. well somewhere between can 10 and can 15 i must of hit the corner edge of the marble bartop with my watch, no scratching on the face, which proves it is sapphire but it took a big scrape off the bezel insert and knocked it completely out an onto the ground and dinged up the bezel a little bit, so off to ebay to buy a new bezel insert, which im still waiting for.

So there is a lesson to be learned here, if you are drinking copious amounts of alochol stay away from marble benchtops. and have a supply of bezel inserts if you want it to look like the real deal

Or, you could put it back together, carry on 'roughing it up' a bit, and have a more 'vintage looking' Sub which is also likely to look like the real thing, rather than a recent purchase B) Hope it all gets worked out one way or another :)
