spokane Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Members, I have a Pam 111H I purchased about a year ago that has not been working for about 6 months. It has the Swiss Unitas 6497. Based on my review of this and other sites, it appears that the movement can be repaired. Can someone recomend a trustworthy person to send it to? Thank you, Spokane
capt_cope Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 The Zigmeister comes to mind. You also should ask yourself how much sentimental value is worth, as servicing/repairing a movement can be pretty expensive. In some cases it's cheaper to just buy a new one.
spokane Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 I have tired to contact The Zigmeister with no success. I am hoping that it is a simple reapir. I paid over $300 for the watch and it is in perfect condition. Hopefully I can find someone to make the repair. Thank you for your thoughts, Spokane

jmt Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Try Vaccuum... He'll get to you faster than The Zigmeister I think.
TWP Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Vaccum and The Zigmeister are both very trustyworthy people and they do excellent work. I am backlogged about a month, but you can always send it to me my friend Thanks TWP
