Can entire bezel be removed from Beginmariner?

Guys,

I need to remove the crystal from my Beginmariner that I got from josh because it is crooked. I thought I read somewhere that if you try to remove the Beginmariner bezel assembly that it might get damaged in the process...is that true? If it can be removed will the standard "blade under the bezel" procedure work?
