PAM111H with asian movement? is it servicable like the Swiss version?

Im looking at a PAM111H from Angus and he says they only have the Asian version in stock. Its supposedly a copy of the swiss movement? does this mean it takes swiss replacement parts if it needs to be serviced?

or am i gonna be out of luck if it breaks......

I would not say the Asian one is not reliable, it's just not compatible with the Swiss parts.

But most of the models supplied now seem to be quazi ETA quazi Asian anyway, so I am not sure where the line is anymore.

I recently saw a pictorial comparing the swan necked / dagger regulated Swiss vs. Asian.

The main TELL was that the Asian version had an Incabloc shock protection system whle the Swiss used a different method (I forget the name, it's a tri-corner arrangement-Novadiac??).

Since this is something that can be seen from most movement photos, Is this THE 'tell'?
