russ
I'm thinking about a Navitimer from one of our dealers. There is a Lemana hnd wind movement that is an option, is this s good choice or are there problems with the movement and complications?
RWG Technical
It is a very good movement. RG
andreww
Good movement, but the accuracy of the watch is compromised by the inaccuracy of the subdials. This watch is a replica of the Navitimer 50th Anniversary model. On the genuine the running seconds is at the 3:00 subdial (not the 9:00). The 30 minute totalizer is at the 9:00 subdial (not the 3:00). On the rep the 6:00 subdial is a dummy hand that simply trails the hour hand, whilst on the genuine it is a 12 hour totalizer. The three subdials are too far apart as well. Because of the Seagull movement, the date function is also noticeably absent. Also. on this particular model the case and bracelet were brushed, and not polished like the rep. In the only contact that I had with an owner of this particular rep, the owner complained that the bezel was extremely loose. My advice would be to stick with the 7750 based version. russ
Ok, so it sounds like the movement is a good one but in terms of "Rep Accuracy", the 7750 movement allows for a more accurate product. Is this correct? quote name='The Zigmeisterzumba' date='Nov 22 2007, 12:51 PM' post='361617'] It is a very good movement. RG
