sssurfer Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 I recently won some ebay auctions on buckles and deployant clasps from azimuthmecha. Right now I noticed that his email is trustyandy@gmail.com, and that he is shipping from Malaysia. That given, he could be 'our' Andrew 99.9%. Anyone has info about? Should you think that this post could result somehow harmful to Andy, please lmk or - mods - delete it.
Watchmeister Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Hey Marco- I discovered the same thing.
Estaban Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Andrew told me about his Mecha some time ago when I was looking for a Jagrbomber. The Azimuth line of watches intrigues me as much as any line. I love the Mecha Base, the Bombardier, and the Jagrbomber. Cool stuff. On my list of gens I'm looking at.
sssurfer Posted June 10, 2006 Author Report Posted June 10, 2006 Hey Marco- I discovered the same thing. Warren, I just hope we did not bid against each other
sssurfer Posted June 10, 2006 Author Report Posted June 10, 2006 I enquired the seller and got this reply: Hi, I am Andy, Andrew's partner. So it seems that Andrew focuses on watches on his website, and this Andy devotes himself to accessories (buckles, clasps, bracelets and so) on ebay. I seem to remember this Andy already mentioned somewhere on the old forum (which I am currently unable to connect to because of a 'forbidden' error). Not a great issue, but do anyone remember about him, by chance?
trustywatchguy Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Just to clarify everyone's doubts on this. Andy used to be my runner and he sells straps and accessories on eBAY. I am in no connection to him. =P He is a trustworthy guy though, I can vouch for that. =) thanks!
slay Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 he also sells bags (andy)... he's a standup guy, I had issues with something, he sent something new, again issues, he refunded the full amount. great guy to deal with!
sssurfer Posted June 11, 2006 Author Report Posted June 11, 2006 Thanks, Andrew, for your explanation. And thanks, Slay, for your witness.
chilidog Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 hi guys, ive bought two nice bags from Andy, good communication and nice pieces, i recently mailed him about an item and he got back to me pronto....i think selling branded stuff on the 'bay is risky but i hope he does ok!! chili
