Modding the Daylight DW with lello's datewheel

Lello's datewheels are awesome. I changed this out over the weekend. Took some cojones but it was worth it. Sorry about the crappy camera phone pics-- honestly they don't do justice to the change in appearance. I should have taken a photo with the date at 26, which looks fatter and more impressive than the teens. That's what Panerai does in their ads.

I was able to get through this install with the help of pugwash's guide to datewheel replacement on the IWC chrono a7750.

The a7750b used in the PAM daylights is a bit different because of the extra gears to drive the 3 o'clock chrono minute hand. Getting through that area without losing parts or breaking anything was perhaps the most difficult part of the install.

If there is interest I can post a pictorial when I attempt to repeat this with a PAM 196 a7750b.
