date wheel adjustment

Am i correct in thinking that if i loosen the screw @1 and move the locking spring @2 i can adjust the placement of the date wheel thus getting it in the middle of the date window????

and if that is the case how is this done on a 2836 with the day wheel fitted?

There is no adjustment for datewheels, it sits where it sits, the spring is in a fixed position. Loosening the screw only removes the cover...
