I've been looking at some of the vintage Seiko's and Citizen's on Ebay and I was wondering how much the new thing used to cost.

I mean the average automatic Seiko chronograph sells for 80$ to 120$ on Ebay. How much did a watch like this cost in the 70's?

Is it a good investment or a waste of money?
