Help me choose my first cheapo Panerai

I wondered whether someone could spare a minute. I'm thinking of treating myself to a PAM. I've always been put off by them because of their size and my tiny (just 6.3" wrists). However, Silix has a couple of 40mm models at less than $100 USD so I think I may take a punt.

Both models however appear to be as near as dammit the same with the exception of the strap and stick/number markers. The links are here.

Could a PAM expert cast their eye over them and give an honest opinion? It'd be much appreciated. The links are here:

the 086 has better crown and crownguard but tottaly wrong caseback, plus i dont like the dial at all. If you can get both and put the crown and guard on the 083
