Broken stem removal

Hi,

I just received a Cousteau 2007, but the stem seems to have been broken during shipping. :( My seller is offering to send a new stem and crown as a first try to fix the problem so I don't have to sent back the watch. The only problem is that part of the stem is still attached to the movement and I can't pull it with my regular tweezers because it is too far in the tube. Does long narrow tweezers that would fit into the tube exist or any other tool that could help pull the stem?

Thanks for your help

Pat

Ok understood... On some models you can get the movement out even with the stem still attached, normally the 9 o'clock position has to come out first, and on this model with the spacer ring, it should be possible to coax it out of the case, with no damage.

At this stage, there is really no other choice I think.
