I need crystal press help!

I just acquired a crystal press and though it seems like it would be self explanatory, I need help with how to use it. I'm pressing my UPO & my 112 crystals and am a little concerned about the UPO crystal because it's domed. I have some hollow dies and some flat dies...I'm assuming that I use the hollow die to press the UPO crystal? If yes, where to I position the lip of the hollow die? At the outer part of the crystal? Any help would be appreciated, I just don't want to break my crystal.

That's what I do with domed crystals, but they're more robust than you'd think. Don't over-think it, just pop it in and push it on. You don't need super-force to get it in position. Pressure underwater pushes in, not out.

I always use a hollow die which gets close to the crystal edge without going over. I do it this way for flat and domed crystals too, BTW. As long as the case is on a horizontal plane, the press will be exerting even pressure all the way around the crystal. My dies also happen to have notches for Rolex crystals with cyclops:
