Chinese Government to clean up Chinglish signs

Recommended Posts

I was reading somewhere about a glitch in a computer program that translates Chinese characters to English and it is causing a lot of problems with signage. The government has set up a task force to clean up the signs before the Olympics.

I guess the Chinese word "gan" means "dry" or "to do", but is being translated to another word that has a completely different meaning.

Unless of course you fancy a nice "dry" (insert transalation here).
