894tom Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 I also sourced "Mystery" movement stems (V23 copy- in the rollie DW models) and will be testing these in the hopes that they will cure the winding issues on this model...more to come...if I get them to work... RG Hmmm..interesting. I have the Lamania handwind movement (in a speedmaster) I had a problem with the winding where it would not hold its winding. It would unwind as soon as I let go of the crown. Is this the problem you are refering to? I took my speedy to a local watch guy and it did not have the problem in front of him with me standing there. I felt like an idiot because I was trying to explain the problem, but the problem had some how fixed itself. He said nothing was wrong with the movement after he inspected it, but he placed some oil on the clicker thinking it may have been stuck open thus allowing the movement to unwind.
