Dewitt - how to re-size the srtap? Pls help

Hi All

Got the Dewitt Academia Sequential from Josh...the watch is amazing. I am dying to wear it but can't....dunno how to re-size the strap.

I remember seeing a post somewhere with proper pictures and explanations on how to re-size the strap for this watch....but can't seem to find it now.

Any help / guidance on how to re-size this will be greately appreciated.

Will post some wrist shots once I can wear it

very easy & simple.....but u need very careful....it's no turning back....------>cut it.

That's it.

You have to cut it.

Take in account in summer time you will need it a little bit longer ... so size it now about 1 mm. longer than you think you need.

And you have to have a pin tool to push out the plastic tubes from the holes in the sides of the strap. Once those plastic tubes are removed you can put the metal springbars in there and attach it to the buckle.

I found that a .050" Allen Wrench (aka Hex Key) works well for pushing out the plastic tubes from the holes in the sides of the strap.

Thanks guys...took the easy way out. Went to a neighborhood watch shop and got it re-sized for a couple of $. The shop guys were going gaga over the watch :-)
